Assistant for International Cooperation
Aizada Burkhanidinova is an ambitious, responsible, kind young woman, who likes travelling and exploring different cultures. She fluently speaks English, Russian, Kyrgyz, Turkish and German and Italian on pre-intermediate level.
Aizada has three years of working experience in Civil Society Organizations, Ministry of Economy and private companies in Kyrgyzstan. Currently, she is pursuing second year of Masters of Science in Business Administration with a major in Social Innovation and Sustainability in Rome, Italy. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Finance at ADAM University, in Kyrgyzstan, and joined American Councils for International Education as an Internship Program Coordinator. She supervised 36 interns through their internship at government institutions and local Civil Society Organizations and coordinated the implementation of 30 social projects with $300+ funding each. At this position, she improved her skills in building partnerships with Government and CSO Officials, budget and database management, project implementation, SMM, recruitment and reporting, team building, and event planning. Moreover, her previous employment at Mercy Corps Kyrgyzstan as a WASH Project Assistant expanded her knowledge about child development through Food for Education program and infrastructure components, processing big amount of data, tender processes, and working in compliance with policies and safety regulations.
As an Alumnus of the Future Leaders Exchange Program, sponsored by the US Department of State, she has been part of countless social projects. Aizada implemented four social projects with a grant of $400+ each on such topics as human development, social inclusion, environmental issues, and sustainability, which gave her a sense of responsibility and a feeling of joy. In addition to that, she has participated in American Chamber of Commerce Mentors Club, Eco Leadership 2020 School, and Erasmus+ Youth Exchange on Emotional Intelligence. She has recently finished her International Volunteering experience as Youth Leader at Euroweek program, organized by Fundacja, Poland.
Her experience in program management, assembled with courses in finance and business administration, have persuaded her that Strategic Sustainable Development and Partnership Building within International Companies/NGOs is the career option she wants to explore in Europe. She is excited and looking forward to having a productive collaboration with the Foundation Institute of Research and Local Development in Fall, 2021.
